I forget how they do it on TV. I don't think they show the whole game, but only bits and pieces. Maybe the whole finals game though. I'm not sure. We will see. But here is the schedule. All times I give are ET. Schedules are subject to change and/or be wrong due to my carelessness.

Day, Date: Time, vs Opponent. TV Channel
Saturday, August 9th: 8:00AM, vs. Czech Republic. USA Network
Monday, August 11th: 8:00AM, vs. China. USA Network
Wednesday, August 13th: 10:15AM, vs Mali. USA Network
Friday, August 15th: 8:00AM, vs Spain. USA Network
Sunday, August 17th: 10:15AM, vs New Zealand. NBC
Tuesday, August 19th: TBD, quarterfinals. USA Network
Thursday, August 21st: TBD, semifinals. MSNBC
Saturday, August 23rd, TBD, finals, NBC

Again, if these are wrong, they are most likely because I made a mistake.

not sure how they are doing it this year, but if they are doing it like they did it in Athens the entire game is show live, in Athens, so here in LA the games were shown between 4 and 8 am, so it would probably be the same just with the game being live in Bejing and whatever time the time difference is where you live (in the USA anyways not sure about how its shown in other countries)

All the games are posted on the calendar at www.of-court.com

Just click on the day and you will find which games are broadcasted on which channel. The times listed at games times in China. You adjust for your time zone.

All USA games are broadcasted live on a major NBC channel. Some Australia games are also broadcasted live.

ALL basketball games can be found on NBC Olympic Basketball Channel.

All the info is on the web site.

Check with your cable company to see if they are running it for the games. It and the NBC Olympic Soccer Channel will be broadcasting all the games of that sport.

You can also watch the games streaming.

www.nbcolympics.com

Check the TV/Schedule section. Left hand side of the task bar.

According to that site, "USA Network" will show the US Mens and Womens Basketball games (also Soccer)..

Quote:
USA Network
USA Network, the No. 1 network in basic cable and seen in nearly 94 million homes, will feature live coverage of Team USA. The USA men's and women's basketball and soccer teams will be a staple of USA Network's 165 hours of Olympic coverage from Beijing. USA begins coverage on Saturday, Aug. 9 with 12 hours of live soccer and basketball and also will offer live tennis, volleyball or water polo everyday until Aug. 24.

Yes.

No. It is a special cable channel that is running only for the Olympics. It is to be carried by all the major cable companies. i.e. Comcast, Time Warner and so on. It should be up and running on August 8th. Check the sports package area of the cable listings.

Yes USA Network is the channel that is broadcasting all the USA games. If you look at the schedule you will see that USA plays either of the last two games schedule for each day.

MSNBC will be showing live one of the Australia games.

Again go to www.off-court.com and click on the calendar. They are all listed there times and channels. The work has all been done for you already.

edited for typo.

CBS has done something similar the last couple of years for the men's NCAA tournament. You can watch any of four different games at once rather than being limited to your regional game.

Thank you for the info!

We have DirecTV's sports package, which includes NBA TV, several FSN stations, etc. Hopefully DirecTV will be offering the NBC Basketball Channel. I'll see what I can find out.

Guys, remember...there is gonna be half dozen channels broadcasting nearly 10-12 hours a day.

Every women's game will be shown. All the women's soccers games and softball and volleyball will be shown as well.

If you have direcTV, your in the blue chips Cool
