Taking a timeout from gay pride to stop at home and check on the game, to find that Minn is shooting 29 percent and is leading 34-29 at the half. Batkovic 8, Betty 6, Zara, 5. Lauren has taken two shots so far. What is this bullshit?

I'm going back out now..............

I'm sorry Sass, I took her in triple threat fantasy game, so like Alana earlier this week I've cursed the poor girl Rolling Eyes

Looks like they're going to go down in another close one to the Lynx. Stacey Lovelace-Tolbert is a dagger off the bench.

Loz has had a stynxalicious game. She probably thought she was playing the Perth Lynx Laughing

Well at least this will provide an opportunity to let those idiotic anti-Harrower Lynx fans on the ESPN board know that they have a PG.

There are anti-Harrower fans on ESPN?

Well if they don't want her, they can trade her back to us Smile Phoenix fans love Kristi.

Thanks Caune.

And I second the sentiments for Kristi Harrower. She was chosen as player of the game by Lynx broadcaster Brian Sieman. Harrower is starting to get her confidence and into the flow of playing with the Lynx. Katie Smith sat a lot in this game with foul trouble so this was a big win for the Lynx.

From the little I have seen of her, Harrower shows that she has good on-ball defensive pressure, an improving shot and has stepped up her rebounding. She reads a game pretty well as far as I can see. Are these characteristics the same with all Aussie point guards? It seems like its the same with Bevilaqua.

Kristi had a good game. I was really wondering about her at the beginning of the season, but I realize it was a whirlwind for her at that time. It was fun seeing her on the floor with Lauren, but I don't know how well they know really know each other.

Lauren got really angry, didn't see how the technical actually happened, but I think Ohlde and Hayden really frustrated her. Right before she got it, I commented to my friend that she looked really RED, her face, arms and tummy (jersey had flown up when jumping) looked extremely red and she didn't get back to normal color for quite a few minutes. Overall, a really good game... at the end, the Lynx were consistantly ahead by more points for 5 or so minutes, but in the last minute, after she hurt her nose again, Sue decided to win game, come hell or high water, all by herself. And Katie still got the most points! Laughing Good game, not so good officiating.

Anyone who has caught a Storm game in person knows that forward Lauren Jackson can have an undesirable mouth at times. Normally the curse words are beamed to the rafters, however.

Official Tom Mauer was offended yesterday and tagged her for a technical foul. Jackson hadn't made a field goal at the time and felt she was fouled by the mob of Lynx defenders swarming her. When she didn't hear a whistle from the referee in front of the play, she turned and spotted Mauer and screamed, "what the [expletive] are you looking at?"

She thought his name was Maher, not Mauer.

Besides, I have it on good authority that wasn't Loz. It was Diana Taurasi.

Whitmore got one yesterday also, I'm sure she had some choice words that led to her's also, it may have been her tone or volume, because if it's about complaining about calls, Detroit should probably get a half dozen per game.

my lip-reading detected double f's, as in "f------ foul," as in "when are you gonna call a f------ foul?" she really was being mobbed under the basket, fell to the floor, then yelled at the ref about it. from my couch i t'd her up before the ref did!

When that story first came out about Cherry Ripes containing small doses of alcohol, did any one else try eating enough to get a register?
