The first quote is bad but what's really horrible is that he's still around to make the second. If he had prepared for an occupation of Iraq with the idea of providing adequate security going in non of this would be happening now. He's the one who's responsible for how poorly things are going. Every in depth story of how and why manpower was deployed at the beginning of the war points to Rumsfeld's desire to abandon the 'overwhelming force' doctrine for a 'leaner, faster' fighthing force.

Fucking guy should have resigned in disgrace 3 years ago.

Pilight and Jammer...how dare you draw attention to the lies of the Bush administration. We need the country focused on the REAL issues, like amendments banning people from having legal recognition of loved ones and flag burning.

I've never understood the big fuss over flag burning. If people want to burn the Australian flag, that's ok with me. Freedom of relatively harmless expression and I'd probably join them! #1 The Australian government sucks at the moment and #2 our flag sucks. It says "we're still a province of imperial Britain". At least change the Union Jack in the corner to the Star and Stripes to reflect reality...
