Here's a tip for all you gamers looking to move up in the standings: Stay away from the people I pick on the nights I pick 'em! I've been rolling snake-eyes all season in this damn crap shoot they call a fantasy game.

6/27 Asjha Jones

Yeah, I've finally decided to completely wipe clean the rest of the picks I made for Pick One, start over and select one of the posts that plays against Phoenix every time. I can't do wrong there. Laughing

6/27: Amber Holt.

I'm contrary, I'm going with you.

Oddly enough, that was my reasoning for switching last night. Playing against Indy with Catch back, I thought for sure low scoring so I went with Melvin against Phoenix. Turned out not to be a bad thing. Smile

Pilight and Mabell are likely going to screw me up tonight. I have Asjha Jones too.

OH HELL YEAH. OH HELL YEAH.

Ahem. That is to say, I went against common sense and picked a Dream player, specifically Betty Lennox.

Very nice pick.

I had Holt, she got me 40 points... 3rd highest of the night, not bad.

Holy fuck Lennox! Shocked But the Dream's 1st win is still a dream. That headline on dot com is so wrong but funny. I had Young so I'm not complaining.

DAMN! Nice pick. I would like to thank Pilight and Mabell for not jinxing me tonight with Jones. Wink

You're welcome. Maybe your luck rubbed off on us. But here's the thing. Although Asjha did well, I gain little or no ground, casue y'all picked her too, or Lennox or Tamara! So even when I do well, it's not relatively any better than anyone else.

Next up, I switched my original pick. I'm now going with Ebony Hoffman. I had Hornbuckle, but she has tailed off recently. I'm hoping Hoffman can continue her recent trend. Sounds like Catch's return has opened up the middle for Ebony. (Any chance that Indiana would trade Hoffman to Atlanta? Wouldn't you just love to see Ebony and Ivory in action? Laughing Embarassed )

You are definitely safe tonight. As of halftime, Tan White has netted me exactly 1 point in the fantasy game. Rolling Eyes

Another brilliant move on my part. Hoffman nets 15 points tonight, while Hornbuckle would have gotten me 38. And I have Hornbuckle tomorrow, 6/29. (Is that who I replaced? Now I'm not sure.)

Wow! I just looked at the boxscore for Indiana-Houston. Ajavon netted 52 tonight! Way to go, Matee!

She would have gotten you more, but she got ejected. Laughing

That's who I have too. After Tan White last night, I am hoping for something decent from Tangela.

True to form. Hornbuckle got me 24 the night after she hit for 38. Story of my life!
