Baylor won easily today, 88-67, over Fresno.

Right now, Wyoming and Pitt are in a battle. The crowd is definitely for the Cowgirls.

Wow good game. The last layup by Walker should have been a charge, she lowered her shoulder because she was tired. Wyoming up 1.

I think Wyoming is better than their seed and it's a shame a lot of people haven't watched them more. They are fun to watch when they are on their game.

Poor Hanna Zavecz - her first and only NCAA appearance ends in a tight loss.

And am I hallucinating or has Jayne Appel scored 29 first half points against Cleveland State? Shocked

Has she played for Australia before? I didn't know about her before her Wyoming run at the end of last year. I think she has pro potential in the WNBL and maybe even the WNBA.

Of course they are. It's a freaking tournament home game, after all.

I don't think she has played for the national team at any level of the game.

I think she has pro potential beyond the WNBL - Europe definitely beckons. The WNBA - I think it's unlikely, unless she's managed to refine her offensive game since I saw her last (looking at the percentages, probably not).

I like the Lobos, but I have to root for WVU. They are getting screwed.

What was that technical call there on the WVU player - was it for stepping over the New Mexico player?

It's ridiculous that a 5 seed has to play on the home floor of a 12 seed. And WTF was that technical foul on WVU??? June Corteau strikes again Rolling Eyes

Speaking of another Big East team falling apart to a mid major (even if it is a home game for NM), that didn't look unintentional to me.

Nice 3 by WVU. I really don't like seeing a 5 seed have to play on the homecourt of a 12 seed.

Dead ball contact after the play so says Corteau.

Yep, that's exactly what it was, and it was a terrible call.

I heard that after my post. I don't think I've ever seen that call but at least she gave an explanation for the call.

That's freaking ridiculous. If you're going to have teams play at their home court, give it to the top four seeds like before.
