I saw Mark Felt on C-Span yesterday. It was a broadcast of Meet the Press (I think) from 1976. Felt was being charged at the time with illegal searches (he was later convicted) & was seeking to justify himself. The reporters really asked tough questions, but the most amazing thing (to me) is that the searches were of the Weather Underground. Because of the illegal searches, Deep Throat was responsible for them getting out of jail.

What a long strange trip I've lived through.
