Because they are looking for evidence for what they think will be the truth about the league. They just want to justify their own opinions. |

The Atlanta franchise will join the Washington Mystics and Los Angeles Sparks as WNBA teams under non-NBA ownership that play in NBA arenas. |
And the Houston Comets, but let's not get too picky...

So, did Dixon not have any stats on attendance for the ABL team? Doe anyone?

Atlanta was home to another women's pro basketball team in 1996-97 — the Glory of the American Basketball League. The team featured player-coach Teresa Edwards, a five-time Olympian who played at the University of Georgia.
The Glory played at Forbes Arena at Morehouse College before the ABL folded in 1998. Edwards is currently an assistant coach with the Minnesota Lynx. |

Why does it seem like the W makes the news more when its something bad...rather when its a positive thing ? |

I don't quite understand...what was so "bad" about the article? If you wanted to read only "positive" articles, go to WNBA.com and read all the positive "spin" you can get from them.

Boy, that Oscar Dixon is just a hater. What, did he just start covering the league yesterday as some bottom of the barrel assignment from the woman's sports hating sports editor at USA Today? Ugh. Next thing you know that know-nothing newbie Mechelle Voepel will be writing uninformed critiques of Donna Orender in some ESPN conspiracy against women's hoops. |
