What I don't understand is the Sparks getting outrebounded.

Leslie has 3 fouls, Holdsclaw (2-8 now) is playing the 3, so not in rebounding position.

Not in rebound position?

Once a player sets foot on the court they are in rebound position: see Nolan's triple double.

Not a good example and Nolan isn't a big time rebounder anyway, which Holdsclaw has proven to be ever since she set foot on the court.

That was really my point in the first place - I don't understand how the Sparks were getting out-rebounded (w/ LL and Mique)

That won't last long if Seattle continues to jack up shots. But this is a weird game, I agree...

you do see that they only have 2 players on the bench. i love our Itialian Connection, but to leave us handicapped at times is not good. Call it Salary Cap or Best use of the Resources We Have.

SEA's SF has been relegated to mainly playing on the perimeter and shooting 3s, as opposed to attacking the hole and being a scorer or rebounder, so when the ball bounces off the rim, Holdsclaw is usually further from the basket than say Whitmore for example.... Leslie would be in a better position too, but she's playing careful, with 3 fouls

Just like I thought - LA snapped out of it and caught up by halftime.

Foul trouble may keep them from winning it though.

Obviously not always, but I see you're just arguing just to argue, so have fun with yourself Idea

The Storm are outrebounding LA now by 2, but it doesn't really matter when they are shooting that poorly.

Once again, Slovy has pissed on me, trying to get me return fire... And once again, when I walk away from his attempts, he says I'm running away. But when I engage him, it's my fault for letting it become a pissing match... Shameful Slovy. Idea

BCBG already took down his argument... he should learn how to pick his fights better Laughing

BCBG didn't
"take down my argument" whether she meant to or not, she supported it. My point was that the Sparks have two great rebounders and their team was being out-rebounded.

I never said this was a pissing match - YOU are the one throwing that term around today (at sparksfan33)

I thought we were having a discussion.

Bottom line - you need to grow up.

I started responding to your posts again in good faith that you might be able to be civilized.
I can see I was wrong.

I'll go back to pretending you don't exist.

It was quite clear that when you said "A long shot rebounds long" you were just trying to be snarky, not have a discussion. I was having a discussion. And it was also clear that your comment was tied to sparksfan33, as you let it slip above, so yes, you were pissing on me. Don't try and say that it's raining Razz

I'll accept your apology if you'll just fess up to your intentions, but otherwise, 'have a nice life'.

While you've been arguing the Sparks have taken the rebounding lead, thanks in large part to The Claw.

Claw now with 14. There's no denying she would get there...especially with that brick fest aka the Storm.

I can't believe how many shots the Storm are missing.

They'll have a LONG practice tomorrow!

I can't believe the type of shots they're giving up in transition.
