I don't know--seems as if with this list of cast-offs we can see that the WNBA has defined itself into another dimension. Sure, they could probably make it on an expansion team--but do we see the W as upgraded to another level?

I agree. It has to be a good sign when the league's rejects are getting so much less "scrubby"

not surprised about either of the Mystics cuts...just surprised that Keisha's name's not on the list. I guess we'll see her on IR.

Tillis waived? Funny how that #13 for Tillis trade has washed out. She should get another look from another team though.

I hope so.

First Dionnah,...now Iciss.....
Crying or Very sad

(But I was rather expecting the news today on Iciss. Having Richie there never gave me any "warm fuzzies")

Not sure why the Mystics continue to keep Brown on the roster. It looks like they have one cut left. I can only hope!

No disrespect to these ladies, but it's good to know that the league is growing to a point where good players can't make rosters. Of course, Chicago will change that unless a current team is moved to Chicago.

Maybe Tillis should have been trying harder to work on her post game throught college and the off season. She and everybody knew what her problem was, but she never wanted to work on it. It's ashamed she wasn't willing to try harder.

And if she really was trying harder to work harder on her post game, I guess this league wasn't cut out for her. But I always like a player to make me eat my words. Maybe she can make a team and prove herself.

that's true - in college, she did seem to have issues with being focused about working on her game.

Wow.. that's a pretty quick plummet from all-star to no job

That deal for Gwen Jackson looks more and more Merc favorable all the time.

Tillis isn't a post! And it simply isn't true about her not working hard at it...

As I said if she did work really hard at it, I am guessing that the WNBA isn't the place for her. If she worked that hard, maybe her game is good over seas and that is it. And no she isn't a post, but was she trying to work at being a post, especially with her size?

A team that is likely to compete for a top pick in the 2006 draft just waived an All-Star. Is the league this good? WOW is right!
