Those guys in the North/Northeast don't work, they just think about booze and sex...it figures. Good for them!

| I've most def learned from the girlfriend of a client of mine that Brazilians 1. really know how to party and 2. are sexual as hell. They're also very forthcoming about most everything, unlike US resident's tendencies to be polite.

no, i really thought you were a paulista, bcbg. unless you're just using a cover . . .
my take is that we americans interpret brasilians as "sexual" because that's the way our world is colored. i like to think of brasilians as being naturally sensual (again, our view, but another slant), with a wholly different attitude about their bodies. i'll stop there, because i'm sure what i'm saying could be misconstrued. (sorry.)

I think this is a natural perception...being that Brazilians are very physical as in they like the touch as much as the word. I have a few Americans working with us here at my office, they're gonna be here for a couple of weeks, and they almost look scared whenever we get in and greet them with a handshake, or hug, or the proverbial 3 kisses on the cheeks lol
About being sexual, that's a little overrated, but anyway, it attracts the wrong type of tourist and someone is obviously making money out of it, so they have no intention to change that image.
How can the biggest Catholic population in the world be overly sexual?
That's a bit of an oxymoron there...or maybe not lol
