I don't normally like to bring personal tragedy to the board (just not my style) but I could really use some positive energy and prayers coming this way.

My mom's live-in boyfriend was in a motorcycle crash a couple of weeks ago and has been in a coma since then. A deer jumped out in front of him in a total freak accident. He has significant brain damage and won't wake back up. He also won't be ever able to breathe on his own. If things keep getting worse (which looks pretty certain) his family will probably take out his ventilator this next week and let him go.

As you can imagine, it's a bad time, particularly for his family and for my mom. I would appreciate any positive energy or prayers to whoever you pray to, The goodwill from this board means a lot and I think it actually does some good.

i am so sorry matty. what a terrible tragedy for a family(ies) to go through. you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
the people on this board are a major source of energy. i speak from experience. tap that energy whenever you need to.

I am so sorry for you and your mom. My family and I had to deal with my father's death from a freak accident almost seven years ago, so I know exactly what you are going through. Having the support of friends was a huge help to me, and you have plenty of support here. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
