i sympathize with you fever fans, but your boy winters wasn't doing anything to develop her, far as i could tell. not that she needed her, but ann donovan might've been good for her. or laimbeer, and i'm sorry that didn't go through.

boiler, the dog is adorable. is that a french bulldog? they are all the rage now where i live. my own dog is in love with one named leo.

The Fever are really hung up on this European gal, Whatshername.

When they re-signed Kelly Shumacher, I figured Raz was gone.

At least with this signing, there is one more chance that Tiff Johnson will not make the roster...Raz is not as tall, but at least she can run.

They must be real jazzed about Jurgita. I hope they are right, buyt I have very little faith in Fever personnel decisions.

I've learned to "prepare for the worst, but hope for the best"

I was just saying on the ESPN board that I wish a sign and trade could have been worked out to swap Raz for Adrian. SA doesn't even have her on the roster. I keep praying she doesn't go to L.A.

There isn't a player in this league that does more with what they have than Kristen Ramussen.

She was my favorite Fever player not named Stephanie Smile I wish her all the best.

Sebibb, it's actually a Boston Terrier. My little boy, Clyde Smile

I'm just happy we didn't lose Deanna Jackson. I was afraid Dan Hughes would make the Fever "an offer they can't refuse" for her.

Deanna is my favorite Fever player not named Tamika - lol!

i'm sure that could be argued, but i tend to agree with you. she also has something of a killer instinct that hasn't come close to being tapped. sfo could've helped her in that regard. in fact, with detroit, i daresay she'd have been (learn to be) more formidable than riley.

aaaah. i should've known i'd guess wrong. if i had seen more of the ears, maybe. i usually guess boston terrier, then the owner gets all indignant and says, "noooooo! french bulldog!" the bulldog's bat ears are a giveaway, i've now learned. clyde's a cutie anyway. he looks like a rough-and-tumble little guy, my favorite kind.

Please tell me why, cause we've definately moved into a territory I'm unfamiliar with. Her numbers, even extended to 40m, are a yawn. Maybe she does a lot of those things that don't show up in the stat line.

But I'm thankful for the help and that she's not past 30.

Pilight who is that THANG on your avatar??? Shocked

I'm all for this, if it means getting Tiffani Johnson waived. Rasmussen isn't filled with talent. I've always referred to her as someone who is a sign of why this league is unappealing to the non-basketball fan. With that said, she works her butt off, and goes after everything. She's a black and blue-collared player. I see this signing as the Comets attempt to throw another body off of the bench at the superior post players in the conference. She can absorb the fouls, so that the quality posts (e.g. Michelle, Tari--if there's anything left, Sancho and Tina---upon her return) can stay out of foul trouble.

I'm just glad she didn't go to Detroit. That wouldn't be good for the Fever.

Slovy, it doesn't look like there would be much stopping the Fever to make on offer for Adrian. Of course, they probably don't want to offer her more than the veteran minimum and if SASS were to match, they couldn't trade for her later.

BTW, the last time I talked to Adrian, she wasn't opposed to LA. In fact, I got the impression that LA is where she would like to go. Evil or Very Mad I plead with her NOT to sign with them, but don't really expect her to listen to me. Laughing Hopefully, their salary cap won't allow it.

That's so true - No Adrian, NOT L.A.!

She went to USC so I could see how she might like to be there.
She told me via email about a month ago that Indy was one plce she was interested in - she went to high school in Indiana.

I'd like to see her here or @ Detroit.

At this point, I would like to see her in the league. I would be very sad and a bit surprised if someone did not pick her up.

Well said.
She has so much potential, I'd hate to see her just "fade away" She's also one of the most down to earth people in this league that I've ever met.
I emailed her a couple days ago and deleted the part about "whatever you do don't go to LA" before I sent it. lol!
