As an aside, if Suzie hailed from a Spanish-speaking country, we were all speaking and typing in Spanish, and her full name were Suzie McConnell Serio, "Suzie McConnell" could be the right way to refer to her. But she doesn't, and she's definitely still married, so "Suzie McConnell Serio" is correct.
