I think UCONN is officially winning the quickest point guards category. Laughing

So did Uconn use up all of their 15 scholorships? Does Jacquie Fernandes still have a scholorship?

JF was offered one this season, but it is not set in stone for her next three seasons with the Huskies.

Eh...UConn had Lorin since last season when she took in a game with Tina. Some say UConn had Lorin ever since she put on a CTK varsity jersey.

If her and Geno can get along, she should have a good career. Don't be alarmed, she's not Sky Lindsay, but she is very confident and feisty.

Personally, if I had to choose on point guard skill, I'd take Anjale over her 8 days a week, but Lorin is one of the most exciting players UConn will have had in the Geno era...seriously.

She's what we call a camera phone player. When she has the ball, everyone pulls out their camera phones. If she wants to learn, the sky's the limit for her.

For the next 4 years, if you need a point guard, just come to NY. Save a lot on recruiting....unless you're Kim Barnes-Arico. Wink Laughing St. Francis has a better NYC recruiting advantage. Laughing

"I love big games and I love being the one to make a big play," Dixon said. "I always want the ball."
Dixon is the second Royals point guard to pick the Huskies, joining 1998 CTK alum Sue Bird.
