Just noticed she isn't listed on the Sun Web site. It isn't that up-to-date (Black is still there, Valek and the draftees aren't), but I didn't know if I had missed something. Has she left the team? I hope not, I really like her.

That's OK - Kate Starbird is still listed on the Fever website.

That didn't even make sense LAST season!

Don't remind me. Of course, as long was there, I could rest assured that Steph's job was safe. Now it gets dicier.

The Fever camps is full, but I can't see many of those players making a difference. Hibbert maybe, Jurgita maybe. I am fan of Iveta's (I won't learn how to spell her last name until she makes the team) and depending on Astou's condition could make the team. Not a lot to get excited about though. Lots of fodder I have to think.

They still haven't signed Steph.
I'd like to see her stay involved with the Fever even if she isn't playing.

I figure it is only a matter of time before she moves full-time into coaching. She will be an excellent pro or college coach, but I would like to see her play at least one more year. She played at a high school near mine and was the whole reason I got interested in girl's and women's basketball. Even as a freshman she was something special. It will be the end of an era for me when she stops playing.

Yes, she's still active. Not sure why not listed, Mike T equates adding her to adding a better than norm 1st round draft choice. We'll have to see about that, Brooke has never been one of my favorites (consistency), but she looked great on the sidelines last year!

I checked the Sun site today and She along with Margo and the draftees were added.
