How can we speculate if we don't know who Sarver knows, and what his sphere of compadres might be???

I guess I am stuck on the connection to Sarver, and that is mighty blinding.

Apparently, "Hall of Famer Annie Meyers" is her stage name, and Ann Meyers Drysdale is for business.

Does she have front office experience anywhere?

That would be the one thing that would make me consider giving up my season tickets.

Lordy, picking Hall of Famer, LL worshipping (Leslie is the MVP every year since Coop, right Annie?), nasty blue outfit wearing Myers; makes NL sound like a viable option.
