thst sbout sums up the storms season right there
ad's press conference should be interesting
i wouldn't want to be too close to lj right now after she commits her first turn over for the night with .07 on the clock. she will be filthy on herself.
but she played a monster game, for someone who was doubtful to play

Apparently, on the last possession of the game with the Sparks up 3, Lennox took a two pointer to lose the game. To add insult to injury, she celebrated the shot with a teammate, thinking she had tied the game and sent it to overtime. She didn't realize the Storm were down 3.
Which, IMO, is absolutely inexcusable.

Not shittin on Betty, just telling the truth. I'm sure she is mad at herself, as she should be. People make mistakes. Just so happens this was a HUGE one. Just the way it goes sometimes.

I know Betty feels pretty bad about it. She'll learn a lesson from this next time she is in that situation.

LA must be $#!&*ng their pants right about now. They barely beat a Storm team missing a key starter, with 3/5 of the lineup playing injured and when Sue Bird couldn't hit water from a boat. They should be praying for the SASS to win out their games and for Seattle to lose a couple more. They won't make it past the 1st round if they face the Storm.

actually this same thing happened in 2002 i think? when sparks lost the season series 1-2 against the storm but swept them in the playoffs. remember sparks go through a different mentality once in the playoffs. they know what's at stake and they charge teams through a different mindset.

No DMJ, Dixon, Byears and Teasley this time though. Hopefully Mique can pick up the slack, but not sure about Mighty Mouse and the rest. These are not the 2002 Sharks. They are not as good. The Storm OTOH is a better team than the 2002 Storm.

We'll see a different mindset by the Sparks and an elevated game play from LL....come playoff time she has been huge and she's healthy this year. The Storm have that strong wing from Castro-Marquez and Betty...but with Betty and Sue not healthy it's gonna be hard and Seattle has a rough schedule the rest of the way.
Amazed at the effort by the Storm...LJ was huge despite her injury. Sue Bird's injury may be hampering her shots as she makes those easy baskets usually with her great stroke.
Good close game.

Whoever said Seattle was scared of LA???? Neither team is scared of each other but elevate their level of gameplay when they face off. I love it when these two teams play because they put it all out on the floor. You have the 2 best players going at it and what can be better than that?!?!?!/ GOOD GAME SEATTLE!

Even though it may not be the 02 Sharks, The Moores (T-Mo and J-Mo) have worked very very hard and along with TJ's handling and Paige and Christi Thomas' rebounds..this is a very hard working team playing great defense. If Mabika gets her act together and chips in 14pts...and Mique and a healthy LL elevating their play.....it's a deadly Sharks team still.
