Name your draft sleeper (player you think will probably not go in the first round, but will make a roster and could be a solid starter in the future).
My draft sleeper...ERICA SMITH-TAYLOR, Louisiana Tech.

Ashley Earley, Vanderbilt.
Note, however, that players I've chosen for threads like this in years past have ALWAYS wound up being cut in training camp.

Earley is a player I hope makes a roster. She is just a tough young woman. She won't be able to play the 4 in the WNBA at 5-10/5-11, but she used to play out on the wing earlier in her career.

Kelly Suminski, she should be a nice backup PG in the W.
But to say somthing different, Kristen Mann. Won't be an all-star, but should be good.

RDub, if Mann goes first round, who would you pick?

DeeDee Wheeler, watched her play in Pac-10 play, I like her game. I'd like to see the Monarchs draft either her or Suminski if they're available for their second round pick. If both are available, then it's got to be Suminski!!! If not, Wheeler is a nice choice.

Being a Stanford fan, I love Suminski's game. I think she's too slow for the W though.
I'd have to concur with BCBG's pick of Chelsea Newton. I can't think of anybody else and Belinda Snell is a sleeper but not a draft one |

Jess Strom...Who knows what would have happened had she had good post players to catch her passes.
In the future, if she comes back stronger than ever:
Jessalyn Deveny...Boston College.

I like Deveny too. I might have picked her if she wasn't hurt.

Strom and Deveny were both people I considered for my pick. I like Strom and think she has the potential to be a very good guard in the league - I would take her over Temeka Johnson.
I think the more I hear about Van picking Temeka, the less good I think she is. Van is distorting my view on players in a very bad way. UGH!

Strom was my pick too. If the Fever go big in the first round, I am hoping we can take Jess in the second.

I'll 2nd caune's pick, Ashley Battle. I like Strom, too, but think there's a chance she'll go in the first round.
