The Minnesota Lynx are projected to take Michigan State point guard Kristin Haynie, who played against Baylor on Tuesday night in the NCAA championship game, with their No. 11 pick in the Women's National Basketball Association draft, according to insaneplatypus.com.

Haynie to the Lynx sounds great to this MSU fan...SMS would be a great mentor...would Susie take Strom before Haynie, perhaps? |

I sure hope not. The media tried to make a connection with Helen Darling and SMS being PSU grads and Rocker players last year and it did not seem to be a factor for them. I like Strom, but would rather have Haynie.

If Keegan is going to get this much publicity, why not charge a membership for his site?

Not if she is smart! Strom is a great player but is nowhere as complete as Haynie, who is a better defender, rebounder, and was the better passer this year (although Strom had to concentrate on scoring rather than crating for her teammates).

Haynie's rebounding really caught my eye this past week. She seems to have a knack, ala Taurasi does, for coming up with the big rebound or loose ball.
I just still wonder, like Pilight had said, about her system keeping up the calories and all on a WNBA schedule.

Maybe I should post some really outrageous trade rumour to see if this columnist posts it |

Keegan, in the interest of self-promotion, you should have a link to the chat where Val mentions you...

Well at least Charley has given up the crazy idea that the Lynx are going to try and trade for Janel.
I emailed him a month ago, when he first started talking that crap, and asked him why he was saying that, and if he had ever seen a WNBA game, but of course he did not reply.
