As a Missourian, I am excited that the Big 12 won tonight. Some outstanding players and coaches have been a part of the conference, and it's great that such a talented team could finally get it together for the full NCAA tournament--even if it's a TX school

Of course, I don't think the Big 12 is overrated. I do think that Mechelle Voepel, from MO and a Mizzou grad, is one of the better women's b-ball columnists. It's a bit sad to say that one woman is such a large percentage of media coverage, but it's true.

If but for a bit, I hope we can all sit back and smile while remembering the great Baylor season or Nicole Ohlde, Kendra Wecker, Laurie Koehn, Megan Mahoney, Amanda Lassiter, Evan Unrau, Stacey Dales, Dionnah Jackson, Tamecka Dixon, Anna DeForge, Ceal Barry, Jody Conradt...
