Obviously, none of the Houston players were brave enough to say the Comet's need is for A NEW HEAD COACH.

Funny how most of the players think the teams needs someone at a position other than the one they play...

I thought Adia's response was the most indicative of this. Seattle's post rotation is more decent than their wing collection at the moment (if only Thompson and Barnes could be spliced together). |

Good point. Kara seemed to come the close in acknowledging the need for more shooters in Sacramento.

Keegs, do you find it interesting that they even asked Adia about anything at all regarding the team? Isn't she on a serious "bubble" for training camp this year?
I really like her defensive play and hope she has been able to work on her shot this off season.

Adia is certainly on the bubble - reportedly the Storm have only offered her a training camp spot (taken from a Seattle newspaper). However, she's doing the community work back in Seattle this offseason which is why they asked her. Almost everybody else is overseas. LJ is in Seattle but we know the WNBA likes to pretend she doesn't exist in their marketing materials. |

The League certainly doesn't have the excuse of LJ playing overseas this year, so it will be interesting to see if the once and future perenneal MVP is better utilized in their campaigns.

Does she know something we don't?

I didn't even notice that, maybe there was another trade by D's new team.

Anyone notice the "I am not like Kobe"-like sputtering from La Leslie?

Responding for FFO:
New York
- New GM
- New coaching staff
- Center who can rebound, score within 10 feet, and play defense
- Point guard who can run an offense, have a better than 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, hit open shots
Am I missing anything for the Liberty?

"I think the consensus from the whole team and the coaching staff is that we need someone who can help out T.J. in the middle. When she subs out, we need someone who can go in there and cause a lot of havoc. They don't necessarily have to be a superstar or someone that is a go-to player, but someone that can play role and is very tall and serviceable in the paint. Once we find that, we will have the opportunity to make a run at it again."
Oh man, sounds like either Margo or Feenstra doesn't it?
