If Kristi wasn't comfortable with the situation I would assume she'd sign with someone else. We'll find out soon.

Well she's a RFA. Minny could match any offer made to her (and maybe they did *cough*).

That said, I think Kristi will fit in nicely and be happy with the 2005 Lynx.

Ah, I had on the brain she was an URFA. Point taken.

The masterpiece is complete. Be afraid. Be very afraid. If we'd had Harrower last year, we would now be preparing to defend our championship. Not that it matters. The dynasty has arrived.

You mean if KT had stayed healthy as well, right?
Kristi's a solid PG and I like the way she plays the game, but surely she's not that much of a difference-maker.

The Lynx were playing very well without Katie. Unfortunately in the playoffs Helen Darling was torched by a Seattle benchie. From the way Kristi played in the Olympic final she would have been far better than Darling and would have won the battle against Tully who I don't think was even selected for the Australian Olympic Team.

Could we have gone all the way with Kristi? I don't know, but leave me with my dreams please.

Those who know me know Kristi is one of my all time favourites. However, I must say something in defence ( Wink ) of Tully.

Opals selection should not come into this debate. Many, many, people know Bevilaqua was robbed of a place in the national team, and Athens wasn't the first time.

Secondly, I have watched these two play each other for years. I can tell you straight up that everytime Kristi tries her cross over moves on Bevilaqua, Tully ends up stealing that ball (cleanly) more times than not.

They are both very different players. Tully is a much better defender and passer. Kristi is also a good passer but more of a scorer. Bevilaqua is very underrated, even at times now I feel, but she has won many a battle against Harrower.
