maybe she should take 3 or 4 different jobs and see if she can do them all at once. the travel would be a bitch, but the money would add up...

No way. Staley's name also came up in connection with the Colorado job, but I just don't see her leaving Temple for any school that's (a) currently losing and (b) that far from Philly. If Debbie Ryan were to retire, maaaybe.

Is Ferne Labati a bad coach, or did she just have one bad season? If the latter, is she a realistic candidate for Colorado?

labati was in miami for 17 years. that's plenty of time to have done something more than she has. her real claim to fame there is that she successfully transitioned the 'canes to the big east conference. even with the few post-season appearances, it's a travesty that a big school like miami hasn't produced a better team. the late '90s were supposed to be a rebuilding period - they're still waiting. when i watched them play in the early 2s (as i call the new millenium), there was no energy, no emotion, no pride, nothing. not from the players, not from the coach. each time i went to a game, there couldn't have been more than 200 people in that dingy arena. she should've been kicked to the curb a long time ago.

It's time some of these young, African American assistant coaches get a chance. Look at what Pokey did what the opportunity!

How about Tonya Cardoza? Dawn's old teammate has just as much ACC ties as Dawn, and more coaching experience.

There is somewhat of a need down there, isn't there? Maybe they could loosen her up...what do you think?

"Loosen her up" - is she highly strung?

We're the complete opposite down here!

I think she is a bit "intense"...to say the least.

Kim Mulky-Robertson could probably use a tour of duty down under to bring her down to where most of us live and breathe.

Staley was raised in some of the harshest streets of Philly, and is a hard-nosed east coaster through and through. I'm sure she could get along fine in Oz, cause she's also nice. But the entry might be a little bumpy.
