Didn't take long for them to jump on the "flavor of the month" did it? I still think they'd do better with Pat coaching them!

Hah!!!

He was on PTI just last week. They asked him if he would consider moving jobs.

His response was basically:

"I doubt it. I have a wife and three kids, and they are involved in the community and they love it here. I'm not one of those coaches who really wants to move around a lot; I'm not one of those guys who spends all of his time thinking about how to move up the ladder. All I've ever wanted was to be in a good situation, and I have a good situation here."

I thought that was really a sweet and refreshing response. I guess I should have known better...

The men's athletic department has been looking for the men's version of Pat Summitt for years. It's annoying. I think Buzz could've done some good things if given another year. But alas...I guess not.

They would be better off if the real Pat Summitt coached the men. But that ain't gonna happen. About like I keep wishing for her to go yell at the football team from time to time. That ain't gonna happen either, but she'd have more effect than Phil Fulmer ever would.

Well, let's see what the new guy will do. And if he gets enough time to show anything.
