Phoenix signed Rita Williams, for training camp. She has been working with Diana at UConn this winter. Not a guaranteed contract. Will see where Rita is in her career...

I was wondering if she'd end up somewhere, I wonder where Monica Maxwell is?

Good Lawd, if she's not careful she's gonna turn into a camp follower like Vanessa Nygaard or Stacy Clinesmith.

Yes; she could barely practice, and had to ice the heck out of them before and after every game.
Hopefully the time off has improved their condition. She's a nice person, and I'd love to see her back in the league.
Unfortunately, I think also her salary slot is going to hurt also. She's over 4 years, so if it comes to a deep bench slot, why not take a rookie who's cheaper?

Anyone think Kara Wolters will make a return to the league?

Just training camp fodder. I doubt she'd beat out Cross or Veal for backup point (both are better and cheaper). Maybe this was Dee wielding a bit of influence *shrugs* |

No, she won't. The Liberty called her middle of last season when everyone was injured and she never returned the call because she wasn't in game shape and didn't want to embarass herself.
I think she's very happy trying the broadcasting gig and being married.
