Hope all is okay with her, yet couldn't happen to a better team. Twisted Evil

*all basketball teams from LA are evil...not every player...just the self proclaimed "leaders"*

PHX getting that 4th playoff spot is more likely if this holds true.

You're right, no one knows the circumstances. And I do hope she's alright. I think we all have a tendency to joke about it though because 1) It's happened before and 2) Coleslaw always seems to have impeccable timing. Laughing

Wow...sure didn't see that one coming when buddy Miko bounced and they brought in ol buddy Muriel. Rolling Eyes

Once Page was added in that deal I felt something was up and I wasn't hearing good things from Mique's peeps in the neighborhood either. I hope she's ok.

I didn't have the Sparks making the playoffs anyway and they definitely won't be making it now.

i think you guys are overreacting.

all this says is that she 'recently left for personal reasons.'

inferring that she's gone for weeks or months or the season is quite premature. this could be anything. maybe a family member is seriously ill or dying or something.

everyone just relax (although Sparks fans are allowed to freak a bit)

I understand that. But doesn't .com have some responsibility to report a major player leaving camp? Obviously the guy who wrote the article knew about it, so it's not that big of a secret.

And how about the push for ticket sales? Don't the customers have a right to know one of the most publicized players on the team isn't going to be there?

It just doesn't seem right. I'm not looking to pry into her life; I don't need to know the whys or wherefores, I just think a little note "she has left camp for personal reasons" would have been appropriate somewhere.

ok, i stand somewhat corrected - there is definitely an ominous implication there. but i still think it's too soon to think the worst.

now, i can't help thinking about her battle with depression...having been there myself...

As a not a Mique fan I too wish her well. I htought with Page there now things would even out. Im beginning to wonder if they ever will. Wonder if its the coaching issues again as in DC or the personal issues. Whatever, i wish her well. Im betting she surfaces in NY and comes in kicking tail.

At the Sparks event in Santa Monica which she did not attend, someone said her father was very ill. Hope all will be ok soon.
