After day one we have a solo leader!

Keegan_oz went 15-1 (missing Virginia over ODU). He has his entire S16 and beyond intact, so things are looking good down under.

Seven entries went 14-2. Five of them are also intact from the S16 on, all have their E8 intact.

31 entries went 13-3. All but one have their E8 intact, one of the many curious_too entries had Iowa State in the F4. This is where the only previous champion in the field, zeusaphone, is sitting.

27 entries went 12-4. Allbut one have their E8 intact.

10 entries went 11-5. All of them have their E8 intact.

Only Liberty2550 went 10-6. He's lost one E8 team.

Three entries went 9-7 to bring up the rear. There's another curious_too entry here thet's lost five S16 and two E8 teams. Shyguy1701 is also here and without his tournament winner.

I thought I picked Virginia and NC State instead of Middle Tenn State. I also thought I had picked Louisville and TCU over the Pac-10 teams.

The fact I can't remember who I picked in my own bracket is a bit disturbing Laughing

Eh...I'm not too bummed with the results of the challenge, I was mostly playing for fun this first year I joined the group. Of course, I wasn't expecting my pick Illinois State to win, but I wasn't expecting them to start the game down 17-0 either...

On the upside, there's no perfect bracket either. And thank you UW-Milwaukee on the men's side for screwing up that one guy's entry. No one deserves to get both Vermont and Bucknell correct in the same evening. Razz

I'm liking that only one other entry at 13-3 or higher has Baylor winning it all!

Keegan_oz went 7-1 in the early games, allowing NJJosh and hoopfan24 to catch him at 220.

Nine others are right behind at 210.

Admiral_Needa, lavidarancia, and zeusaphone all went 7-1 and Gaucho Don went 8-0 in the late games to take the lead at 280. Lavi and z both have their S16 intact, the Admiral and G-Don have lost just one S16 team.

10 entries are right behind at 270. All are E8 intact. Half are S16 intact, the other half are missing just one.

12 entries are at 260. Five are S16 intact, all but one are E8 intact.

18 entries are at 250. 17 are E8 intact, five are S16 intact.

16 entries are at 240. 15 are E8 intact, the others are missing only one. Nine are S16 intact.

14 entries are at 230. All are E8 intact, six are S16 intact.

Two entries are at 220. Each is missing an E8 team.

Shyguy1701 is alone at 210. He's lost his tournament winner.

Three entries are at 200. Two are E8 intact, the other is missing two. None are S16 intact.

Yeah, you can't rely on ESPN to update in a timely fashion.

Yeah, it's a bummer. I was hoping to see how far from the overall leaderboard I was before I undoubtedly blow it tonight and fall into oblivion. It's been a nice couple day run though:)

Not as close as I had hoped Sad #561

I, for one, have out done myself this year. I even played close attention to what was going on all year and knew something about the many of the teams...especially if they found their way to the Top 25 during the season.

And for what...for Texas to peter out in the second round??? So disappointing. And, I was also buying into Notre Dame's strong run during the regular season this year...booted as well.

The TCU thing will haunt me forever!

That's why we play the games, right?

Gaucho Don 7-1 on the day to have 560 and the lead. E8 is intact.

Zeusaphone also 7-1 for second at 540. She's missing one from the E8.

Six entries are at 530. Psufan004 is down one E8 team, the rest are intact.

Six more entries at 520. Half are E8 intact, half are down one.

Despite losing one member of the National Championship, I did tie for the best second round with 280. That's pretty good.

Now if only my first round wasn't so bad, I wouldn't be stuck in an eight-way tie for 52nd.

I'm in 77th place with 400 points.

I graduated high school in 77.

When I sign my name on a check or other document, I put '77' in the middle of it.

What a neat place to be. It's fitting.

"I'm happy." Droopy.

MSUSTudent31 went 8/8 the round to take the lead at 850.

Gaucho_Don, sgachi, and CFerraro04 are in at 840.

Kelli 9070 is at 830.

Matt5762, SgtUTVols, Mystics_fan07, and psufan004 are all at 810.

cjavolfan, keegan_oz, fade4luv, and henceroth are tied for 10th at 790. Henceroth is down a F4 team.

There are many other entries just outside the top 10 with intact F4s. It's still pretty wide open.

psufan004 had both Baylor and Michigan State and moves into the lead at 1290.

kelli9070 had MSU and is second at 1270, but without a tournament winner.

RSHERMVIKES 2/2 is in at 1210

GOMIST8WBB 2/2 at 1200

IndyPurdueFan and NYCScribbler both 1/2 at 1170. NYCS has no tournament winner.

cferraro04 0/2 still at 1160

cjavolfan and PUMatty both 1/2 at 1150, neither has a tournament winner

jfox108 and MSUStudent31 both 1/2 at 1130 and both without a tournament winner.

If Baylor wins, psufan0004 takes the title. If Michigan State wins when GOMIST8WBB wins.
