Maybe a WNBA team will try this:

Sounds promising...it isn't as if the Mercury GM position will be open anytime soon...

Sounds fun... maybe they'll televise it.

Unfortunately basketball is less about stats and more about just watching... I remember seeing Lindsay Whalen in 2003 playing at Stanford and quickly determining that she'd likely go #3 in the '04 draft. No doubt her stats wouldn't have made her look like a sure bet back then, which was probably why some people put her in the 2nd Round in Mock Drafts even as late as January 2004. Exclamation

BTW, I ended up #41 in the NBA VGM Razz

Though I don't think it would work in the NBA either... Many trades occur just because the owners don't want to pay a certain salary. And they're certainly not going to do something just because somebody says this person is good. Hey, they can't all be like Paul Allen! Shocked

I saw that on Yahoo! as I was working on my job search. Wish the WNBA had started that with 2004 VGM...

How does Chicago sound to you? Idea There must be job openings galore there and you're already used to the cold weather Razz

Meanwhile, stop by more often and drop down your opinions here!
