The Sacramento Monarchs signed Hollie Grima and Carly Wilson.

This was announced earlier by the Brigade satellite contingent (Luuuc, Hellcat, and Keegan), but it is now official.

It's a better opportunity for Wilson, given the Monarchs current roster.

Grima will have to fight with Yolanda Griffith, DeMya Walker, Rebekkah Brunson, Chantelle Anderson, Erin Buescher, and Olympia Scott-Richardson for PT.

Wilson only has to beat out the aged Ruthie Bolton, Giuliana Mendiola, and/or the Chinese girls to be the first guard off the bench.

Buescher is training camp fodder, IMHO, and Grima will beat her out. But after that, it is a tall task...

Will the Libs ever sign ANYONE that has a chance on sticking around?? Yeah, yeah...I know about Stacy Stephens and all that, but other clubs sign left & right and NY doesn't do shit! No wonder we always end up with the scrubs of the scrubs.

Grima is the better player than Wilson. Maybe if she gets cut, another team will give her a look. Has to learn some post moves but she has range and a lot of potential. She has good off ball movement and is a good post passer.

Carly has a solid all-round game but doesn't have a weapon and while she's athletic, she's not particularly fast and doesn't have the strength to compensate (ala Snell). She's also quite inconsistent.

No pics of Carly or Hollie? Though as Cam noted a long time ago, you could substitute a pic of Harmony from Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Carly Wink

Also, is there height deflation going on? I am pretty sure Carly is taller than 5'9" (try 5'11") and Hollie is listed as 6'3" down here.
