I am obviously relieved the Gophers pulled it out. This was a good win for MN. They have not had a really close game like this, so it hopefully it will help against OSU and in the NCAA tournament.

Purdue played much better than the previous two games against the Gophers, so hopefully it will help them get into the tournament. I would hate to see them miss making the tournament when they seem to be playing better.

Duke beat Purdue...if the Boilermakers make the tournament, it would be another team Duke defeated qualifying for the Big Dance.

Plus, I can think of a Whale(n) of a reason why I would root for Minnesota to lose...actually 82 of them.
