How in the hell do you get blocked by Ivory Latta? Confused

Duke already with 12 turnover 12 minutes into the game.

Abby Waner is very talented like that Wink .

That was a bad call on her, though. Ivory Latta brought her down. I don't think it was malicious, but just the way the arms ended up being.

I don't think I've seen so many missed lay-ups by Duke before.

Absolutely horrid call on Waner. Not sure how they screwed that one up, even after conferring.

Did Duke have a game yesterday or something? They look very sluggish and most of their shots have been way short. Just a total lack of focus this half. I hope Coach G gets them together at the half. Not that I'm a Duke fan or anything, I just wanna see a good game Razz

You think? It didn't look like a turned ankle, from the replay, she didn't roll her ankle, or it didn't look like it. Hope you're wrong, that would be devastating to NC for sure.

Duke has missed so many lay-ups in this game...

It's nice to see that Ivory is o.k.

Some players in foul trouble: Atkinson, Little, Black, and Williams all have 3 fouls apiece.

The refs are making a habit of making "anticipation" calls in this game...for both teams.

In my opinion, I think Duke really struggles when Lindsey Harding isn't at 100%.

Duke can't control Larkins and Latta.

True, but what's everyone else's excuse (save Wanisha Smith)?

Duke's bigs can't seem to box out Larkins. Latta, as usual, is a loose cannon.

I think Duke's guards can't handle the UNC quickness. As quick as Harding is, she isn't as quick as one of the UNC guards. Also, I think Duke is not playing very composed. They keep barking at the officials about everything. They need to settle down, relax, and play the ball they have all season.

I disagree. I think she's as quick as (or maybe quicker than) Alex Miller.

Larkins is a great talent. Why couldn't she come to UConn Crying or Very sad ?

Wanisha Smith has been the lone bright spot for Duke.

Ivory Latta is an actress and the refs let her be one.

That being said, Monique should have shown more patience, and driven to the basket. It's better to make the shot, get fouled, or both than it is to brick one 3 and then airball another.

I think that last play by UNC was the dagger.
