Cal does have a lot of potential, but they looked young today. With the defense ASU is capable of playing, I think they have a great shot to take the Pac 10 tournament.

With that freshman class, I expect Cal to make some noise out there in Pac-10 land in a couple of seasons. They should be Big Dance-bound next season.

I like Stanford and USC, but I do think ASU will win the Pac-10 this season.

Probably too late for the regualr season crown. All Stanford has to do is win two at home, where they haven't lost a Pac-10 game in quite a while. They can't be caught otherwise. The tournament should be a free for all, with the scent of desperation in the air when several teams take the court.

I meant to say the tournament aka the automatic NCAA bid. My mistake. Wink

Cal will only make noise if their coach starts to coach. They are playing on talent atm, but she needs to get some team work and basics into their game to make then contenders in the future. Very talented players, but undisciplined on court.

When freshmen account for so much of your offense (over 70 percent), the team will look undisciplined at times.
