Doesn't the SEC announce their annual awards during Wednesday's SEC tournament media day?
Although, there shouldn't be too many surprises with the awards (note: these are not necessarily my picks but rather who I believe will be awarded):
POY: Augustus
COY: Pokey Chatman
FOY: Humphrey

My pick for COY: Sue Semrau of Florida State. No Dorian Williams, due to Jia Perkins syndrome. Ranalda Pierce passed away. No real post threat. And her team has 21 wins, after being picked to finish near the bottom of the ACC.
FOY: Choose among Humphrey, Fowles, Wiggins, Langhorne, Larkins, or Crystal Kelly.

I haven't really thought about the national awards, but Semrau would be a good choice for COY. I can also think of several other deserving coaches as well, inlcuding Joanne McCallie, Jim Foster, Pokey Chatman, and Carol Ross.
For FOY, I would give it to Humphrey, but that's just a personal opinion. The other players you mentioned have certainly made strong cases for the award.

| one has to wonder with the decreased performance of UCSB early (yeah we have some injuries) and the increased performance of Florida State... how much of that is due to Cori Close making the move from here to there (not to take away from Sue after all isn't hiring great assistant coaches a character of a great Head Coach?)

| FOY should go to Wiggins. Stanford have gotten better since losing their best player ever and she's one of the main reasons why. |

The Big East awards will be announced on Friday night at the BE banquet. Here are my predictions:
POY-Jackie Batteast
ROY-Matee Ajavon
DPOY-Chelsea Newton
COY-Kim Barnes-Arico
First team:
Pondexter
Strother
Batteast
Bulger
Deveny
Ajavon
I could see Houston/Ajavon getting co-ROY.

I agree with you...but I think Matee will be the sole winner of ROY. Her team has a better record and her stats are slightly better.

Good picks by Bart for the BEC, though CViv may get COY for sentimental reasons.
Agree with Cam re Sue Semrau for ACC COY. Go Noles!!!!

I would also argue Sue has a strong case for National Coach of the Year.
