I want to point out that Harper wasn't near Harding on that play either._________________ "People kept saying why are you looking at Maryland, why are you even talking to them? Well, look at us now!" - Crystal Langhorne, NCAA Champion

But there is no question about the offensive foul that Toliver got away with! Karate chop was a (finally) a good description by Mark and Deb.

Damn! I leave the room around the 5 min mark and Duke was leading by 4? I think and when I return, Duke is up by almost 20! What happened!?!? Also, is Harding OK?

Ditto on all counts. Also Mistie Williams was on fire.
(Sounds like Harding will be okay. They were reporting a "shoulder contusion" at the end of the game.)

Experience and Foley. Thats all I can say. Great game by Duke. Tough loss for the Terps. But this young group will only get better.
BTW, is Bales in Coach G's doghouse? Shes not been starting and has seemed kind of down on herself lately...

The game will be replayed on ESPNU, I think I deleted your original post, not sure what I did, hope that helps. I think I hit edit instead of reply, sorry about that.

This whole Maryland, Duke, UNC thing.
It looks like the three best teams in the ACC are all roughly equal and how each one matches up with the other determines who wins. While much remains to be seen, Duke seems to have MD's number this year, UNC beats Duke easily, and Maryland goes into Chapel Hill and get a victory. Really interesting. It's not beyond my ken to think they will each have only two conferene losses to each other.
Interesting.

Games like this one, as well as multiple others this season, are why I feel Jess Foley could stick in the WNBA as a reserve. She comes in, she can hit an open shot, she moves the ball decently well and doesn't turn over much, she is a solid free throw shooter, and she plays solid defense. I don't think she'd ever be able to be a starter, but I really think she could provide a solid 8 minutes a game or so.

Question the "easily", but agree with your overall point.
I'm a Duke fan, but would still give UNC the first-place vote in this week's poll.
The ACC tournament should be fun. I'm glad there'll be a 10-day gap before the NCAA for teams to recover.

Bales needs to be more aggressive offensively. Chante has been playing better. The starting lineup has been rotating at the 2 (Wanisha and Abby) and the 5 (Chante and Ali).
Foley was huge tonight, coming off a great game against UVA.

Chante looks great to me. I think next year it's likely that she will be more assertive on offense, and she'll have to be with Mo gone. She sure does need to put on a few pounds before the W though...

That was a good game. I thought Maryland played well defensively during that stretch where they built that 10 point lead but Mo Currie and the rest of the team were just too much for the Terps to handle.
Seeing Lindsey in that kind of pain was...wow. She looked in more pain than I thought she was in. Hopefully she's ok. You never want see good players go down like that.
