In eight games during the month of January, the 5-9 guard averaged 22.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.0 steals per contest, shooting 54.0 (68-126) percent from the field, 50.0 (11-22) percent from three-point range and 85.7 (36-42) percent from the free-throw line. Pondexter reached double figures in scoring in all eight games, reaching the 20-point plateau five times, including a career-high 40 at South Florida Jan. 11, the fifth-highest single-game total in RU history.
