For reasons completely beyond the ken of my rational mind, I'm trying to track down a box score from the AIAW era. To be specific, March 10th, 1981, Virginia at Tennessee in the first round of the Region II championships. My Google-fu has failed me. The best I got is (I think) the physical location of the boxscore... unfortunately, the physical location is Eastern Kentucky University, not exactly convenient.
Anyone know where this can be geeked?

Your best bet is probably to find someone with a 1982 media guide from one of the teams. My guess is that the Tennessee guide will be easier to find.
Why that game?

Yes, I am. It was the regional championships, not the nationals. Either that or the Tennessee website has it wrong, and I don't think she'd let that happen.

any possibility of a library having a newspaper that old on microfiche anymore -- such as maybe the Washington Post might have covered that game and printed the box score?
