Now that Tennessee and UConn each have 20+ point losses on the season, let's see if anyone knows the answer to this one:


What's the largest margin that a team has lost by before going on to win the NCAA tournament?

HINT: There are actually two teams that lost by this same wide margin, and they won their titles in consecutive years.

Nobody wants to play. Sad Oh well...

The biggest loss for a team that went on to win an NCAA title is 18. The 1995-96 and 1996-97 Tennessee Lady Vols each lost a game by that margin (one to Stanford, the other to Louisiana Tech).

Didn't know the answer to your trivia question but I think I like those odds for TN in March and April.
