But Texas Tech is inching back.

They have hit .500 for the season, including 6-3 in their last 9 games. Rice and Mississippi are both looking like bad losses, but they currently have Top 50 wins over Louisville and Texas AM and a Top 25 win over Baylor. Given how low the B12 is this year, it isn't hard to imagine the Raiders finishing a few games above .500 at this point. That, their couple of good wins, and an RPI above 50 could speak very well toward them getting into the tournament after all.
