Tech wins 66-61 and lends proof to the notion that Wake Forest is a really bad road team. Wink Tech now moves to 1-4 in the ACC and snaps a 5-game losing streak overall.

Virginia @ Miami: 77-65 'Hoos in Coral Gables, FL

Junior Brenna McGuire leads the way w/22 pts, followed by fellow junior Siedah Williams with 20. Senior Tiffany Sardin adds 14 pts, 10 rebounds (double-double). Nice day to be an upperclassman for UVA. Close game early but Virginia pulls away late.

Florida State @ UNC: 68-51 'Heels in Chapel Hell, NC Wink

Sophomore Erlana Larkins hangs 22 pts on the 'Noles to lead the Heels. Junior Ivory Latta chips in with 18 pts. Sophomore LaToya Pringle adds 11 rebounds. The game was close at the half and was within single digits until the second part of the second half.

Eye-opening stat: 0 assists for UNC point guards despite the 17-point win

Nice win for the Hoo's...They are actually my 3rd favorite ACC team after Maryland and Duke.

I'm not shocked by the 0 assists for the UNC point guards.

You like Duke, too? Smile They're my #1 while UVA's my #2. Maryland should be my #3 (look at all that talent) except for when they play Duke. I just really love this conference.

I have to admit that I'm shocked by the 0 assists for UNC PGs because of the style of basketball UNC plays. I'm sure they had opportunities to push tempo and catch those bigs streaking up the court. I'm sure they'll shake it off and pick up those assists next game.

u aint uva fan if u're fan of duke first.

i'll be in durham for duke-uva game -- i'll whack currie's leg before she plays -- just like nancy kerrigan did. Wink

on a serious note, i'm glad that uva beats miami -- it was a payback but -- losing to maryland just because kristi tolliver is a crybaby ... it's stupid slut.

i want duke to beat tennessee tomorrow but i want duke to lose to uva eventually, u bitch. after all, they owed it to us -- they stole that game 60-59 game from us, u stupid jj redick craphead

I see Mr. Fairweather "fan" is back! Rolling Eyes Tell me, ridor, which school did you attend again because it certainly wasn't UVA. Even UVA alum know how to construct nearly-legible arguments. That crap you wrote wasn't even on par with someone from Florida State.

bballfan -- trust me, i was with the cavs when they lost two in a row. i went insane and committed myself to the state hospital.

i was just joking about you being a fan of duke and uva -- i thought it was disgusting but more power to you. Smile

jj reddick knew how to gets my blood boiling by his body language. so each time u talked about how you loved duke, i think of jj.

i did not attend uva but i was a loyal fan of uva since i was 14 (i'm 32) -- so shut up.

Bite me, ridor. I'm a JJ Redick fan and loving it! Smile I'd take him over the starting five at UVA anyday, even if it does include Sean Singletary (best PG in ACC).

I know you've been a fan for years. I'm just glad to see that you're so positive about the Cavaliers' outlook this season. It's nice to know they've got supporters out there.
