Fever heading for another blowout loss. They only lost by two to Seattle in Seattle, but that was with Fegbenle and Wheeler. Really sad because another good crowd.
The Fever lost 10 games last year (25% of 40 games) by more than 10 points. This will be their 5th loss this year by more than 10 points. 55% of 9 games. They added Clark and Fagbenle, swapped Samuelson for Vivians, and are doing worse. But they are yet to play Chicago, Phoenix or Washington, 3 teams with losing records and they have played 1 to 3 more games than the rest of the league and have talked about a lack of practice. So things may improve.
Whitcomb fouls out in 19 minutes.

Fever have weak offense, weak defense, weak low post play, and (Clay is right) weak personal defense by Clark.
Sides is down 27-15 points with five minutes to go and Storm with bench in, yet keeps her key starters in until the bitter end: Clark, 40 minutes. Why?

Had to make sure that Clark got her counting stats.

Clearing the bench is now frowned on by coaches in college and the WNBA. That was not a unique situation.

Probably because people in the stands paid to see Clark.
Professional sports are a business, above everything else. Part of the WNBA’s growth needs to be in recognizing this..

I understand them paying to see Clark , but if they continue to dump on the rest of her team how hard do you think they will play for those types of fans ?

I don’t think fans in the stands are rooting against the players. I think it’s more the irritating online contingent…
