Indiana Fever 3 point shooting through 10 games:
Player Attempts/Game Percentage
Clark 8.4 31%
Mitchell 5.7 31.6%
Wallace 2.6 21.7%
Samuelson 2.4 41.7%
Hull 1.7 40%
Smith 1.6 43.8%
Wheeler 1.1 20%
Fagbenle 0.8 16.7%
Boston 0.7 42.9%
I saw the top three shooters [Clark,Mitchell and Wallace] all below 33% and thought the Fever must be the worst in the league from three. But not the case, and the only undefeated team is the worst from three.
Lynx 38.2%
Dream 37.2%
Sparks 34.8%
Aces 33.9%
Mystics 33.5%
Mercury 33 1%
Wings 33%
Storm 32.2%
Indiana Team average 32.2%
Sky 31.6%
Liberty 30.7%
Sun 27%

Largest lead had been 21 for the Liberty. Fever got it down to 12. Time out New York. 14-2 run. Now back up to a 24 point lead.

I pay attention and see Clark out of the game down 30 and I think Sides is clearing the bench. But it turns out Clark went to the locker room with some ear/head issue.

Gotta ask, Why are starters in this game; up by 30 with 5 mins to go?!!
Do they need PT with the bench?
Ever hear of a twisted ankle or knee?
Same question for the Fever w AB in there. smh

That is the modern way, even in college. I thought I heard something said today about season point differential being a factor in something for the WNBA.

My understanding is that the point differential is only important to the Commissioner's Cup competition (but I could be wrong)

Note to schedulers:
If you're going to schedule one of the worst teams in the league a back-to-back, please don't put them up against one of the best teams in game 2 or you will watch a team run out of gas and stall out on the side of the road. Not a pretty ending.
And yes, the Liberty are serious about winning the Commissioner's Cup again. Leaving in the starters for maximum point differential was the clue.

The #1-#1 dynamic Fever duo scorched the maple for a combined 8 points. Maybe Indiana needs Monica Czinano, someone who at least knows how to run a Vulcan mind meld pick & roll with Clark. |

I forget which game, but Clark had a nice connection with Fagbenle. It looked like something Indiana could build off of.

Fagbenle's hurt and I am going to remind the room that reconstructing Iowa will also not result in a championship team.

Yes, one of Indiana's many problems.

Nothing will result in the Fever becoming a championship team this season. However, giving Clark some of the personnel skills and playbook tools that enabled her to be first in career points and third in career assists in both men's and women's college basketball history might improve the Fever's performance and record. |

With their schedule they have had no rest. I look to see a better team after this break where they get some rest and able to practice.
I would like to see more CC to AB plays.
