Half the PAC 12 is now in the Top 25 - has any other conference ever achieved that feat?

How about a conference getting three teams into the final four? The Big east has done that on both the men and women's sides. And they it by winning actual games, not an opinion poll.

What a weird thing to come back with when someone is highlighting how tough the Pac-12 is in the final season of the conference.

Especially, picking a stat from the bygone era of the Big East when it actually had teams that could go to the Final Four outside of UConn.

It's really been SC and everyone else all season, and I expect that to continue. As to the kludge of everyone else, my most confident feeling is that KSU is not the second best team in the country with or without Lee.

Hmmm. Notre Dame loses to 'cuse and goes UP a notch? Gonzaga loses to no one this week and goes DOWN 2 notches? Razz Laughing

Yeah, let K-State bask in its moment in the sun. I'm also tempted to say that it really IS just a catfight for 2nd place, but.....The Gamecocks HAVE demonstrated a bit of vulnerability on several occasions this season.

I pity the Selection Committee in a few weeks. By then, they should all just get drunk and throw darts. Cool

One good win does not make a Top 25 Team. Are we forgetting that Duke also lost to Clemson and Davidson? I'm not sure that I'd rank Duke either given their body of work.

That's fair. Duke is kids with knives - they stab themselves as much as the other team.

Maybe it makes more sense if you provide more context. Notre Dame lost at home to Syracuse but also beat UConn in Storrs. Gonzaga won @Santa Clara and @San Francisco.
