Someone said this a long time ago. Always bet on black.

Dominant second half. Aces show what an ace backcourt looks like. And A'ja is among the best PFs ever. Does Stokes count as an offensive player?

Game 1: Aces guards exploit Liberty guards unable to defend. Meanwhile, NY guards stymied by active LV defense. Jonquel Jones got completely taken out in the second half by doubling with a guard.

Laughing

Becky over Sandy is a pretty big advantage for the Aces.

Not surprised Sabrina struggled a little, she’s never been there before. I am surprised Sloot did..she has. They have to be much better in order for New York to win. Jones is NY’s biggest advantage, and they need to use her more.

That has to be coaching, right? They were legitimately playing 5-on-4 every minute that Stokes was on the court, and they just... stopped taking advantage of that.

The more serious post:

the fuck is wrong with Sloot? I'm not talking about defensively. I'm talking about her looking at the floor like she needs to put her reading glasses on and squint. Our floor general looks like a particularly incompetent Risk AI.

Sabrina's reaction time on defense would put a snail on downers to shame. I know she's not great defensively but sometimes she looks like she's in power-save mode.

I think the time in the locker room and what seemed like constant triples on the glass wore JJ down. Sometimes it feels like no one else on this team thinks they have to fight for a rebound, and it... annoys me.

Having a bench is one of our advantages and I think it would be neat if Sandy remembered that.

Jackie Young: v. good at basketball.

Chelsea Gray continues to remain the best. Someone get her off this team so I can really like her.

Even though the Liberty knocked my Mystics out of the playoffs, I really want them to get their first ship.
I hope Sandy can turn this around.

Go Liberty, Liberty, Liberty (sorry, that ad is always stuck in my head)
