I will have delicious pleasure if Connecticut eliminates the Liberty from the playoffs. It will taste better than a Chicago deep dish 🍕 pizza.

This game is being played in NY, not Vegas.

How was there no foul on Laney on AT just prior to the TO?

I want to see that again.

I'll love it if AT makes BS's MVP look like bs!!!!

It would also be nice if CT could make a basket.

Super impressive with ONO. She’s gotten so much stronger and tougher in the paint.

Does Tiffany Hayes have the worst body language in the WNBA?

I'm so surprised. I remembered her as very well mannered at UConn. She's certainly unhinged since then . . . Hard to watch. Poor thing.

The WNBA has to do something about that obnoxious leg kick of Bonner's. Sometimes her legs are like 4 feet apart and IMO, it's impossible for the defense to even remotely have a chance to have a legal close out.

1. She going to hurt someone or herself(and then piss and moan and cry)
2. It's totally bush league, bullshit.

Wow. It must hurt to know that she backed into an MVP award.

I would love for the refs in the pregame huddle with the players to tell everyone, "You can complain about your own fouls and fouls you think we missed committed against you, but if you're complaining about a play you weren't involved in, we're going to issue a warning, and if you do it again we're calling a technical." I can't count the number of sequences where three different Sun players were each kvetching to a different ref. Y'all need to fight your own damn battles.

I see we successfully rebooted Betnijah out of safe mode. I approve strongly. As she goes we go, MVP be damned.

I'm still worried about our defense on the perimeter (see: pretty much everything Tiffany Hayes did all night that she stayed on both feet for). But when the offense is cooking, it's magical. Attack, attack, attack.

So better than three pounds of tomato sauce and three inches of shitty crust? That's not saying very much.

Wild game. So fun. I’ve lost my voice.

It was awfully chippy there in the closing seconds lots of smack talk between the players.

How do Liberty fans typically do in Uncasville? Considering a last minute road trip to Mohegan…

The sections closest to the visiting bench are 16 and 17 in the lower bowl and 107/108 in the upper bowl. 18 in the lower bowl is also close enough. Concessions are reasonably priced, which is good because the cheap food options in the casino are sketchy. Talk to your Liberty ticket rep about getting tickets through the team if you want to sit near other Liberty fans, especially on Sunday.

Sun fans are okay. I mean, I wouldn't pull up in a Breanna Stewart MVP shirt. We're louder than they are. There used to be an... unfortunate strain of fans with an astonishing ability to admire players for... let's just say *not* the content of their character, to pull an MLK quote and I think you know how those folks were choosing their favorites now.

This is rich. After I called out Diana for her foot landing full force on Fowles' midsection after a shot, I was labelled as being a DT hater. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - uses her body as an offensive weapon more than DT does.

A long player with spindly long arms and legs who plays actively on offense AND defense (Dewanna Bonner) is going to make contact with those constant motion semi-elastic arms and legs, which is entirely different from aiming a kick at an opponent's midsection to get the 'and one' on the shot. And Phoenix would be lucky if DT actually moved on defense instead of impersonating a chair.

The zone definitely helped. Interested to see if White adjusts to it. Becky likely will and if they get there, the Libs will have to deal with Chelsea and Plum.
