I hear the train a coming,
Rolling round the bend,
I ain't seen the sunshine,
Since I don't know when.
Do you have a train stopper Lynx?
Obviously, that's been a no.
Can you pull it out Lynx?
With Jess back? Yes!
79- 76 Lynx

OK, this is what we've all been waiting for!
This matchup between Napheesa Collier and Alyssa Thomas should be epic, but I think both players are going to show their greatness. It's the leading scorers besides them who I think are going to decide the series: Dewanna Bonner and Kayla McBride. If one of them goes cold, it's trouble for her team. I say the Lynx manage to win a game where McBride goes nuts, but Connecticut goes into Minnesota to win it in 3. They're the better team.
Can't wait to see how Dorka Juhasz and Diamond Miller do in the playoffs. That 's an unkown factor that will swing the way things go.
GO NAPHEESA!!!

R & R need to pay attention. It was 4th grade, not 4 yo!

McBride getting out of the way of Alyssa Thomas pretty much defines the Lynx defense.
And we just paid a juicy 2-year guaranteed contract for that kind of defense. Good job, Reeve! You should sit in it. 💩
Lynx down by 20 early in the third.

Get hit by a Mack truck or live to play next play. If Minny wants to stop AT, they need to bring in a brick hut.

ESPN gives the odd stat that the 30 point victory is the 2nd largest of an opening playoff game. 33 by Phoenix in 2015 and 28 by Minnesota in 2011.

Actually, it was a wise decision. She saved an "and 1" and a possible injury (from the 3rd row.) McBride's best option was to hope she missed and move on which is what she did.
