Why is she commentating? Shouldn't she be with her team? They have a game tomorrow.

Bad form, Nell.

Think of all the high school players who will see Nell on TV today. It's good PR for her.

And think how her team is feeling when they don't have their coach to prepare for a game at their biggest rival tomorrow.

Is it still OK for recruits to see her if they lose tomorrow?

Teams with the inside track to the Final Four: Tennessee, LSU, Duke, North Carolina, Baylor. Wow. Glad she left her team to give us that deep insight.

The problem is that it's a weak question. Things that I feel would be a lot more intriguing would be Mizzou's win over Baylor, what's wrong with Texas and Texas Tech, the progression of Maryland as a national power, or the development of the 4 frosh at Cal. Any of these would be more interesting to me.

Totally agree.

Part of the problem, I suppose, is you have to catch up the people who only see women's basketball today. The one's who don't know who Pokey Chapman is and who don't know that Baylor won the NCAA last year.

Her suggestion of Doug Bruno for COY was unexpected.

Hmmm...I wish that I could have seen UConn v TN which was shown nation wide on CBS--except in Houston where the local affiliate is showning some horrible teleathon Mad

What of Mizzou's followup game today against KState? No, let down from the big win--in fact, they played even better or so it seemed, but I may not be a great judge because I have not seen KState play a lot--so, while Mizzou looked really good, maybe KState was off?

Not nationwide. In Lafayette, we got Northwestern versus Minnesota men. Unbelievable.

Luckily, the Indy affiliate showed the game.

Do analysis and then get back to GA in time for the walk through and light shoot around. Most of the game prep has been done already. What's the big deal?

I agree Curious.
What's the big deal? Fornter isn't going to do anything to hurt her team.
She's not stupid.

It just doesn't pass the "smell" test for me. That's not what I want my coach doing the day before a game. I assume, if she takes her commentating gig seriously, that there's also game notes, team media guides, and video to be studied. Again, not the stuff I want my coach focused on the day before a game.

If she can do it all, more power to her. But I don't care for it, either.

Checking Auburn's results, it doesn't appear that she can do both.
