In Q1, Nova gets off 25 shots to UConn's 12, due largely to dominant offensive rebounding, but can't hit its shots and ends up 5 points behind. |

After 15 minutes, has the feel of a wire game. Neither team can stop the other from getting off good shots. It's a matter of who makes them. |

34-24 at the half.
Good for UConn: good defense including on Maddy; hitting shots.
Not good: Fudd ineffective; Ducharme with ice bag on head again. |

34-24 UConn at the half
Siegrist looking kinda human against UConn.

At the half it's 34-24 UConn
Neither team very good from the arc which isn't surprising in a third game in 3 days. UConn's lead is mostly from going inside sooner.
There was a lot of contact, and fouls in the act by both teams that were let go. It will be interesting to see how they call the 3rd period. It sucks when you have to adjust to the officials' mood.
Other than that it's a great game. Both teams are making plays.

6 left in 3rd.
44-29 UConn. Vill has been agressive on the OB's and lead in OB's but UConn has started to burn them in transition.
Now if only Fudd can make a 3 or two ...

Fudd's knee is not 100% and she's clearly rusty, but you cannot leave her open on the perimeter.

UConn goes into Abrams tank mode on offense in Q3 and leads 61-39. |

Having Fudd and Ducharme back gives UConn a pretty good 7 man rotation.

And then the Huskies completely collapse in Q4, being outscored 17-6, but a solid win nevertheless. |

Aaliyah Edwards MOP, and strengthened her credentials to be on the 10-player AA team. |

Hope Griffin is okay. She checked out in the second half almost immediately and was in sweats the rest of the game. Of course, the crack announcing team didn’t notice or comment. |

Wow, you're right--I didn't notice she wasn't playing until you mentioned it, and the announcers said nothing.
I've never seen a player exaggerate contact more than Nika Muhl.
