....ESPN's video clip about CVS and Cheney St.'s historic tourney run? (I couldn't figure out how to add it here).

At any rate, if you get to see it, I'm curious if you'll notice something in the brief clips of their action on the floor. Cheney St.'s players' demonstrate a skill that is just NOT. SEEN. TODAY.

Well, apparently nobody could see what I saw:

I saw athletes (Bigs!) who had tremendous vertical leaps AND COULD RELEASE THE BALL FROM WAY ABOVE THEIR HEADS, AT THE APEX OF THEIR LEAP. Why/how is this a lost skill in the women's game?
