GTech started off hot and ND was not ready to start playing apparently, as GTech ran off to a 8-0 start. Niele with the quick time out and then 17-4 ND the rest of the quarter for a 17-12 lead after 1 quarter.

GT came out and started the game with an 8-0 run, with ND missing some bunnies. Ivey called timeout, got her team's attention, they got serious, and outscored GT 17-4 the remainder of the quarter to end with a 17-12 lead.
I really like ND's freshman KK Bransford. She is so big and strong as a guard, and makes her putbacks at the rim even with defenders hacking and hanging on her. She's looking really comfortable as her playing time has grown following Mabrey's season-ending injury.

Odd game. Watching it you think that ND is playing their game and expect to see a sizeable lead, but GT is keeping it close. Was 33-27 at the half, is now 39-29 two minutes into Q3.
Not a lot of ND turnovers, not a horrible shooting percentage, but can't break away so far.

Well, NDis now taking charge and with two minutes left in Q3 leads 55-34.
ND looks more energetic and is moving more, more crisply, and more effectively on offense.
