This would be a really nice win to pick up for MU. It might be an intimate gathering tonight with a big ice storm happening. Go Marquette!

Creighton leads 26-25 at halftime. I'll take it - Marquette was down 35-14 at halftime in the game in Omaha. Chloe Marotta sat for awhile in the first half with 2 fouls so hopefully she can help get MU going in the second half.

Also take it since Jordan King seems to be having an off night (2-10).

Yeah - 2-13 now. Only 11 points between Marotta and King and that's a big reason why Creighton has a huge lead right now - 44-30 at the end of the 3rd quarter. MU had all of 5 points in the 3rd quarter - ugh!

Creighton wins 55-44 led by Morgan Maly with 15 and Rachel Saunders with 12. Chloe Marotta led MU with 13 pts and Liza Karlen added 10.

Creighton will finish no lower than 3rd in the BE now and has one BE game remaining while all other BE teams besides Georgetown have two conference games remaining. Marquette is battling with St. John's to get the 4th seed in the BET - I think they'd lose a tiebreaker to St. John's. Seton Hall is also in the mix for that 4th place spot should MU or SJU suffer one loss in their last two games.
